This weekly talk show is hosted and produced by the students of GHS-TV. Our station’s longest-running show, Crosstalk spotlights people, places, events and issues here in Shelby County and beyond. Guests have included legendary composer Charles Strouse, iconic record producer Sam Phillips, civil rights leaders Terrence Roberts and Benjamin Hooks and Saturday Night Live star Chris Parnell.

Crosstalk - desegregation

In the 1960s, the City of Memphis desegregated its schools. This week our host Rachel Christopherson interviews U of M professor Daniel Kiel, creator of the documentary “Memphis 13”, and two of six African-American alumni who integrated GHS in the ’60s.
